Hello NXP Team,

We are designing a hardware platform using MIMX8ML8DVNLZAB processor.

Can you please share a GPIO mapping sheet, Thermal Data and IBIS Model of the processor for our reference.

Hi @JyotiVaishnav,

I hope you are doing well.

1. GPIO Mapping Sheet
NXP does not have any specific GPIO mapping sheet. However, one can download the Config Tools for i.MX Applications Processors and perform pin muxing for the MIMX8ML8DVNLZAB processor. One can also find the pin muxing file of the i.MX8MP EVK in this tool.

2. Thermal Data
There is no specific thermal data available. One can refer to Section 6 Thermal Considerations of i.MX 8M Plus Hardware Developer’s Guide and perform board-level thermal analysis.

2. IBIS Model
One can download the IBIS model from the link given below:
i.MX 8M Plus 15x15 IBIS Model

Hi @JyotiVaishnav,

Please see the required details below which can be provided by us:

- Junction temperature can be considered the same which can be found in Table 12. Operating ranges in the i.MX8MP datasheet.

- Storage temperature can be found in Table 9. Absolute maximum ratings in the i.MX8MP datasheet.

- Thermal resistance data can be found in Section 3.1.2 Thermal resistance in the i.MX8MP datasheet.

- For the Layer stack up of the SoM board, one can refer to PCB Layout of i.MX 8M Plus LPDDR4 EVK Compute Module Design Files

- For the Layer stack up of the Baseboard, one can refer to PCB Layout of i.MX 8M Plus EVK Base Board Design Files.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @JyotiVaishnav,

- Ambient temperature would depend upon your application.

- The operating temperature is the same as the junction temperature.

- Case temperature can be calculated by using the Junction to Case Thermal Resistance value mentioned in the datasheet. and power dissipation value (as per your application).

- Junction to Board Temperature data is not available.

Thanks & Regards,
