MFG tool stop on "UTP: Waiting for device to appear" in Android 6

Hi All,

 I download MFG tool form official web site and try to upgrade my board, i do some ddr configuration for my board. But MFG always stop on "UTP: Waiting for device to appear". The full log and MFG log as attached.

 How to resolve it ? Thanks!

Hi David

in hardware one can check usb_id signal, should be float or high,

processor USB_OTG_VBUS should has power. In software one

can check if usb functionality works running linux minimal image

and unit tests (imx-test/../mxc_usb_test

Hi Igor,

USB_OTG_VBUS is 5V and  usb_id (ENET_RX_ER) is floating. And The board is working fine in Android 5.x (MFG tools)... Do have some guide of the Test tools ? I don't  understand how to use it. Thanks!

what do you mean by "Test tools" ?

Regarding mfg tools one can check documentation in

ga-mfg-tools/Document folder.

Acturely the board is working fine on Android 5 and MFG tools version "L5.1_2.1.0"..

Maybe I can tryto modify zImage to fix it. But I can't get string "Starting UTP" or "UTP:" by grep....

Does that is part of android source ?  Thanks!
