Hello.
I am doing test 88W8997 module made by Laird company using MCIMX8QM.
And SDK is imx-android-11.0.0_2.4.0 (Android 11).
My question is for Bluetooth driver:
I can find the WIFI driver code in /imx-android-11.0.0_2.4.0/android_build/vendor/nxp-opensource/nxp-mwifiex.
In case of the bluetooth driver, is it using the driver in the kernel without a separate release driver code? (path: android_build/vendor/nxp-opensource/kernel_imx/drivers/bluetooth)
Thank you.
Thank you Igor
Your answer is very helpful for me.
But I have a question more.
I built the mek_8q image following documents Android™ User's Guide (nxp.com).
If it is not supported as you said, what is the SDK version of the image I built?
>..what is the SDK version of the image I built?
please look on below link, column "Supported Platforms"

Hi Young
in general yes, however
unfortunately i.MX8QM is not supported in Android-11.0.0_2.4.0 as described on below
link, column "Supported Platforms"

Hi igorpadykov
As I know, there is not a prebuilt image in NXP portal, but it's not that it's not supported. I downloaded the SDK and built it myself.
Please see above build number of picture. I took the picture after boot.
Please let me know if i'm wrong.
Question:
When we using NXP WIFI/BT products on Android-11.0.0_2.4.0, are we using the bluetooth driver provided by the Linux kernel? Or is it in a separate directory?
Thank you.

Dear Igorpadykov
According to Android Quick Start Guide of Android 11.0.0_2.4.0, there is a guide of i.MX 8QuadMax board.
Android™ Quick Start Guide (nxp.com)
Please check once again whether i.MX 8QuadMax does not support android imx-android-11.0.0_2.4.0.
And I'm still building i.mx8qm image inside the imx-android-11.0.0_2.4.0 directory.
Thank you.
