According to AN12195, I use the lp_record application to record, but the microphone input of the audio jack on the evaluation board is connected to GND.What path are you using to record?

Those are tested devices.

Exist an audio board to connect MCIMX8M-EVKB but, it seems that is not available.

The i.MX8M needs to be connected to the J1801 connector trough a ribbon cable. With this you will be able to connect SAI ports to other codecs to play/record audio.

Hi Jorge7u7,

In the AN12195 application note sample application, is the audio output through J1801?
The IAR project (audio server) for Cortex-M4 has a WM8524 codec driver, I thought it would be output from the audio jack, is it a difference in my perception?

Also, what kind of audio devices can be connected to the J1801?

Best regards.

It is not specified, you should be able to select the desired SAI port to send/receive data.

Yes, it is correct. The WM8524 codec will output audio through the jack.

Please consult the tested codecs for Linux OS on the attached file, page 19.

Best regards.

Thank you for uploading the attached file.
I understand about the corresponding CODEC in LINUX.

The IAR project (audio server) for Cortex-M4 in AN12195SW is FreeRTOS, the only supported devices are WM8524 and WM8960, right?

Do you have a recordable audio card (audio board) product that connects to the J1801?

Best regards.
