MALI GPU driver for the imx6 freescale sabrelite

Hello,

I have tried to use the ARM DS-5 streamline to monitor the GPU on the imx6 sabrelite board, but I have encountered a problem with the driver MALI GPU for this board. I can't configure the performance counter related to the GPU on the DS5 tool.

So can someone help me to resolve this problem, to install the driver MALI GPU driver?

Hi,

The GPU used on i.MX6 processors is from Vivante, therefore the Mali driver doesn't match the hardware. Please use Vivante driver instead.

But someone has an experience how to collect data form gpu on the arm ds5 streamline_analyzer.

Hi,

I don't think you can plug in the GPU core directly, the JTAG connection is (I believe) only tied to the Cortex-A9 and not the Vivante GalCore.

But you can have a look at other GPU tools such as apitrace to get some info.
