Hello, NXP team:

I download "L5.4.70-2.3.0_images_MX8MMEVK.zip" and flash "imx-image-multimedia-imx8mmevk.wic".

The imx8mmevk we have is with QCA9377 WIFI, so i switch to use the default device tree file "imx8mm-evk-qca-wifi.dtb".

Bluetooth firmware is loaded and "hci0" is created.

When i try to enable hci0, there is error message:

root@imx8mmevk:~# dmesg | grep -i model
[ 0.000000] Machine model: FSL i.MX8MM LPDDR4 EVK with QCA WIFI revB board
root@imx8mmevk:~# hciattach -t 30 /dev/ttymxc0 qca 115200 flow
root@imx8mmevk:~# hciconfig -a

root@imx8mmevk:~# hciconfig hci0 up
[ 552.165747] debugfs: File 'dut_mode' in directory 'hci0' already present!
Can't init device hci0: Invalid request code (56)

root@edm-g-imx8mm:~# hcitool -i hci0 scan

We have tried Linux 5.4.47_2.2.0 and it works fine.

Could you give me a tip what is the difference between Linux 5.4.47_2.2.0 and 5.4.70_2.3.0 to cause this issue?

Thanks!

BR,

Richard
