Linaro toolchain: Optimizations for i.MX series

Wiki (for Linaro: Linaro - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) says that Linaro optimizes GCC for i.MX CPUs. I couldn't find exactly what kind of optimizations Linaro made -- even I searched the Linaro website.

Can someone point tell what are those optimizations, on top of GCC?

Thanks,

Rajan

Thanks Yuri. Your suggested doc helps. Actually I am looking for reasons why should I migrate from GCC to Linaro? What kind of benefits I will get regards to stability, fast compilation, more optimized code wrt to speed, memory usage.

Rajan
