I have a LTIB L3.0.35_4.1.0 installed on a Unbutu 12.04 Linux host and version of Uboot and Kernel supported are given below

linux-3.0.35

uboot-2009.08

I wanted to know if there is a updated version supported now and if yes how can get the sourcecode and relevant patch files to update my ltib as well.

I have followed Yocto User manual and downloaded it on my computer but it needs lot of resources and I have not been to able to build the default u-boot itself. LTIB was comparatively much lighter. I have LTIB working installation. Just wanted to know if Freescale supports both or I need to move to Yocto.

As of now I have not been successful with Yocto.

Hello,

Freescale has moved the Linux BSP to Yocto.

Linux 3.10.17

o   Source Code Download Steps Documentation and Demo Images

Documentation:

o   Linux 3.10.17 BSP & MM Bundle

Also, you can find the latest Kernel and u-boot in the git.

Hi Luis ,

I downloaded both the source code and documents. But i am doubting about the header files.. In the Linux reference manual the header file location is ' <Yocto_BuildDir>/linux/arch/arm/plat-mxc/include/mach'. But in the 'plat-mxc' folder is missing in linux BSP. Where is the header file location in 3.10.17.

Regards

Shabeer

Hi,Shabeer

In 3.10.17, you can try to find it in arch/arm/mach-imx.

Hi Luis,

I tried to download through the git as discussed the PDF document "Freescale_Yocto_Project_User's_Guide" but looks like my organization has blocked git access. Is there any workaround to set this up?
