Hello Hope you are well. Could you please provide me the part number you are using? This to confirm if LPUART3 is present on those pins.
If EMC bank is 1.8v, the output from those pins will be 1.8v while the GPIO_AD bank output will be 3.3v. This could cause issues depending on the operating voltage of the device you´re trying to communicate.
