J-Link Mini EDU not working with MIMXRT1060-EVKB -- won't connect?

Hi, I'm suffering from the "can't halt CPU" problem when trying to JTAG-debug, and can't figure it out.  My whole point in buying a demo board (MIMXRT1060-EVKB) and a well-known JTAG unit was to make this part of learning easy!  But -- somehow I can't fix this and am sure there's nothing actually wrong.  Could someone please help / make a suggestion?

Hello,

Well, in my experience: if it is a software or installation thing, then it is mostly binary: either it works or it does not.

While if things are sometimes working, sometimes not it is mostly because of hardware problems.You should contact segger for this propose.

Your suggestion is a good one despite Segger always saying in their support forum that it's NOT a support forum.  Actually, I've been trying to get support from them for several days so far; it's surprisingly difficult, but wish me luck.
