Dear all,

I know that i.MX53 QSB supports MCIMX28LCD touch screen.

I was wondering, is there a way to make it support regular (commercial) touch-screen monitor?

For example: Dell SX2210T, or Acer T230H, etc.

Thanks a lot.

Thanks Jimmy.

I am new to touch screen world, is it possible to use generic touch screen driver for those commercial monitors?

I don't have those commercial monitors so I cannot have a try. I guess the touchscreen may work as an input device for the OS. e.g. running on an Ubuntu GUI. If it can be recognized by the OS (e.g. mouse device), then it should have a device name under /dev/input/. Then I think you can use it in Ubuntu. I think you can contact those monitor company and check that if they have a driver to support Android, Linux or WinCE.
