Is there a PAL/NTSC Video Decoder Supported by iMX8MQ?

Hello, 

I need to interface a PAL/NTSC Camera with my custom board using iMX8MQ, I try to use ISL79987 with no success.

I'd like to know If there is a Solution with driver compatible with iMX8MQ, ie, just one channel, a format compatible with gst-launch-1.0, and no need of 2D GPU.

Hello  Leandro Schmitz,

i.MX8MQ supports 2 MIPI CSI-2 ports, which are camera input interface. so you need to use CVBS to MIPI CSI-2  Bridge for your application, like ADV7280-M. BUT each MIPI CSI-2 of i.MX8MQ can only support 1 channel camera, like this:

(1) MIPI CSI1: 1 camera with PAL/NTSC--->ADV7280-M--->MIPI CSI1

(2) MIPI CSI2: 1 camera with PAL/NTSC--->ADV7280-M--->MIPI CSI2
