Is it possible to debug i.mx8x with gdb debugger running on windows host?

MCIM X8QXP-CPU evaluation board is running embedded Linux.  Is it possible to debug with gdb debugger running on windows host?

Or can embedded Linux target be debugged from gdb debugger running from terminal that is connected to Linux Server?
