Is RFKILL.KO needed for ath6kl in IMX6 Android KK4.4.2?

Hi,

I am bringing up the Wifi module Atheros AR6302 in IMX6 Android KK4.4.2. Facing the following issue from wpa_supplicant,

I/wpa_supplicant( 2799): rfkill: Cannot open RFKILL control device

After analyzed the ath6kl driver, came to know that rfkill.ko was not integrated for ath6kl. The rfkill related APIs are stubbed by  rfkill_backport.h.

Is this correct one or we need rfkill.ko for ath6kl separately?.

Please anyone help on this. I am stuck at this issue.

Thanks and Regards,

Sriram.

please try to enable RFKILL in defconfig.

for your reference : WiFi direct feature on Android JB.4.2.2.1-ga release.

Thanks jimmy for your reply.

The Wifi is working fine without enabling RFKILL. It may cause issues on Wifi direct. As of now, we are not supporting Wifi Direct, so no problem.

Regards

Sriram.
