Hello Victor Wokili,

I see that you have received a couple of answers on this topic already. Unfortunately, there is no documentation or support for the i.MX515 on the L3.0.35 Linux BSP or on the Android KK 4.4.2 BSP. This means there is not a step-by-step guide that can be provided.

Regarding Linux my recommendation would be using the Community BSP, which can be downloaded following the instructions on the link below:

http://freescale.github.io/

You could also try using the old L3.0.35 BSP mentioned on the following thread. However, support for LTIB would be much harder to come by than support for Yocto, which has a big community.

This BSP does support some older boards like the NXP i.MX51 Evaluation Kit and it supports various kernel versions.
As for Android the porting of Kit Kat 4.4.2 to the i.MX515 would be a bit more complicated. You could take Android KK BSP for another board (from NXP or a third party) and work on the necessary porting for the i.MX515, which would require good knowledge on the hardware of the i.MX515 and of Android.

My apologies for the inconvenience. I hope this helps!
Regards,
