Inquiry i.MX6S LVDS clock input spec.

Dear Sir,

Our customer design and  use external LVDS clock buffer on i.MX6S platform.

We checked and don't find LVDS clock input spec.(likes below table)

VIH Min (V)

VIL Max (V)

VIL Min (V)

Spec Rise/Fall Time Max(ns)

Spec Rise/Fall Time Min(ns)

Cycle to Cycle Jitter

Could you provide it to us?

Customer used PCIe Gen2 solution (PCIe external clock buffer input to i.MX6 pad CLK1_N and CLK1_P (LVDS level))

 Please help confirm it.

Hello Andy Chien,

The i.MX6 does not have a LVDS input. The LVDS can only be used as an output. As an output the LVDS module can be configured for different resolutions. There is more detail on the LVDS capabilities on the Reference Manual LVDS chapter.
