Dear Sir or Madam,

Hello.

I'd like to use the three cameras.

Is it possible to input the three cameras simultaneously i.MX 6Dual or Quad.

OS:Linux

Hi Keita

in theory it is possible to support up to 4 virtual channels on the MIPI CSI-2 input, refer to

attached file.

One will need to build some aggregator FPGA combining the three separate

camera streams into one with 3 virtual channels.

In general one can use usb camera also.

I think you can find in community IPU x2 cameras solutions (like attached patch), though

I am afraid there are no such for x3 cameras.

Best regards

igor

Hi Igor,

Thank you for your reply.

Is it possible to input from 3 cameras (CSI-1 & CSI-2 & MIPI-CSI) in i.MX6Q?

Best Regards,

Keita

Hi Keita

yes this is possible, in particular

Figure 19-1 "CSI2IPU gasket connectivity" IMX6DQRM

shows data flow for multiple cameras connection.

Best regards
