Image analytics & control for new drone survey device

Our client has interest in using the i.MX for a survey device featuring multi-camera image acquisition and ML-analytics onboard.

They have interest in the Google Coral and I have recommended the Phytec SoMs. How do their operations compare, in use for the Google TPU & system control?

I like it! This is the interest shared by our executive counsel, I feel it may be challenging to achieve reliable motor control & real-time operations in this form factor. Are there any changes or complexities established with the Coral-Dev over the Phytec i.MX soln?

The solutions architect in me reaches for the Coral-Dev, but the design engineer is apprehensive; curious on your thoughts in this context.

This is the unit they are using, it has securely gotten them started and seated into the product

I see application and value with Phytec though for them in later steps, I will reach out to Google for discussion
