Hi,

It's my yocto version configuration.

Yocto version: 5.4.24-2.1.0、5.4.70_2.3.6

DISTRO and MACHINE: DISTRO=fsl-imx-xwayland MACHINE=imx8qxpc0mek source imx-setup-release.sh -b imx8qxpc0mek_xwayland

targets: bitbake imx-image-core

using busybox as init manager,modified fsl-imx-preferred-env.inc

POKY_DEFAULT_DISTRO_FEATURES += " sysvinit"

I made 2 more partitions on my emmc, rootfs is at mmcblk0p2, and mmcblk0p3、mmcblk0p4 partition will auto mount.

We try to poweroff and boot the IMX8 board over and over again, but when poweroff 700-1000+ times, the system will get stuck without any wrong log print out. We just can't input any character by console. Of course, our application is background running. At first, I just think the reason of system stuck is something wrong is our application, but we notice the system will also get stuck before the app run. Then we stop the app auto start totally, system will still get stuck with very small probability. It will take a long time to recurrence the problem, so we just add some "sync" operation in the init scripts, probability become bigger. System get stuck when poweroff and boot about 1000 times.

We have tried using "mount" command to mount other partitions, but no effect. System works fine when just mount rootfs partition. We also tried using buildroot filesystem using the same partitions, buildroot works just fine after 30000 times booting ...

We could not found any similar problem in community, could anyone give me some suggests.
