Hi,
I used the prebuilt binaries and IMX8MQEVK board boots. In that I try to use wifi (4356).
https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/IMX8MQ-EVK-Booting-LINUX-from-SD-card/td-p/1232619
lspci - lists the 4356 module.
By referring to UM11490.pdf - feature config guide for imx8mqevk)
I try to update the /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf file. Using a open SSID, updated ssid and key_mgmt=NONE.
But when I run the wpa_supplicant -iwlan0 -Dnl80211 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
It fails.
It goes lot of BSS add and remove multiple times, and stuck.
wlan0: BSS: Remove id 163 BSSID f0:5c:19:8a:8d:6b SSID 'guest' due to wpa_bss_flush_by_age.
The IMX8mQEVK is not associating.
I have tried with different SSID (with and without PSK). Same status.
why is this behavior? and how to resolve this?
Regards.
Hi JKT
one can look at linux wifi documentation on
wireless.murata.com/eng/products/rf-modules-1/wi-fi-bluetooth-for-freescale-i-mx.html
