IMX8MP - PMIC_ON_REQ - under what circumstances will this signal deassert at runtime?

Hello,

We have a board using an IMX8MP SoC.  We see, at run time, the signal PMIC_ON_REQ de-assert, which results in an unexpected reboot.  The TRM indicates that the PMIC_ON_REQ signal is driven by a state machine in the SNVS.  At runtime (i.e. after a successful Linux boot), under what circumstances will the SNVS state machine de-assert PMIC_ON_REQ?

The PMIC_ON_REQ deassertion appears to be related to heavy CPU load (stress-ng loads of 80% or so on all 4 cores).

Thanks,

John
