IMX8MN mixed selecting PAD (iomux) in different group

Hi

We have some questions about IOMUX for imx8mn. I thought we could use the pinctrl group which has PINs from different PAD/ALT groups. Just like the following device tree. Combined the multiplexed pins from ENET, GPIO, and SD PAD.

I am correct here?

If yes, does this kind of configuration method apply to all other peripheral devices? For instance, UART:

Combining SD1 Pad and Uart2 PAD in pinctrl_uart2 together.

yes this understanding is correct, applicable to all modules (other peripheral devices).
