IMX8MM board bring up USB and Console issue

Hi Team,

We are doing bring up of imx8mm board.

Initially emmc chip is blank.

And we are planning to flash UUU build using usb and console.

UUU build has emmc 8gb, sdcard, console uart 4, usb2.0, pim, ddr4 changes.

But when we try to load this uuu pkg in Imx8mm chip in download mode, usb is not detecting and console is giving random garbage values at boadrate 115200.

Whenever we put device in download mode usb is not detecting to flash uuu build.

Please share your inputs here asap. Its very urgent.

Hi USB and Console is working.

We have tested DDR4 with latest RPA version on mscale tool.

And successfully integrated ddr_timing.c file in code base.

But when we are trying to flash. We are able to load only sbl code not an entire uuu build.

We are using DDR4 with PCA​ pmic . But not able to isolate BD pmic from code in uboot side.

Could you please suggest what are the changes required to integrate ddr4 with pca pmic.

​Will provide more logs with progress on the same nxp case.

For the newer BSP support the PCA PMIC default.

Yes.

We are using Imx8mm custom board with Android 11 code base.

We have made following changes in code base:

1. Changes LPDDR4 to DDR4

2. Type-C to USB2.0 Micro

3. Emmc 8GB configuration

We are able to configure DDR4 with PMIC changes. u-boot is booting properly but kernel is getting stucked.
