Dear NXP team,

We are designing IMX8M+ based product for which we need your assistance in choosing right part numbers of LPDDR4 and eMMC memory.

32gb emmc P/N: SDINBDG4-32G-I1 & LPDDR4 P/N MT53E1536M32D4DT-046 WT:A are EOL. We are planning to choose 64gb emmc P/N: SDINBDA6-64G-XI1 & LPDDR4 P/N MT53E1536M32D4DE-046 AIT:C based on Z4BM.

Please help in approving these replacement is being supported by IMX8M+ SoC and BSP level as well.

Thanks in Advance!

Hitesh

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,

For MT53E1536M32D4DE-046 AIT:C part noticed that changed:

  • Automotive grade, which leads to temperature grade, which match with the industrial-version processor range.
  • A thicker profile and ball, which will mean a rework in tracing.

For SDINBDA6-64G-XI1:

  • Extended grade which match with the industrial-version processor range.
  • Reduction in Random Read/Write (IOPS), which doesn't seem like an issue.
  • 3D from 2D NAND flash architecture, seems ok.

Consider suggested parts but it seems ok.
