IMX8M Plus .img flashing procedure for SDcard on custom board

Hi,

We have an iMx8M Plus, custom board. We have received a compressed image(.zip) from the customer. After extracting this image we got a .img file. We want to flash this .img to SDcard. We need a flashing procedure for the .img file to SDcard.

Actually, i am looking for .img  image copy to the SD card.

Kindly share the procedure for this.

Hi 

I think dd will be okay for image copy, and Linux user guide (i.MX Linux User's Guide (nxp.com)) can be good reference.

Customer can also try win32_disk_imager.

Hi,

We have flashed using above mentioned Linux user guide steps for SD cards. We have flashed successfully and partitions were also created on SDcard after flashing. When we boot the board u-boot itself stocking and we are getting errors. Attached log for reference. Please kindly help me to resolve the problem.
