Hello,

I found out a while ago that if I want to use PCIE-USB WiFi module for MCIMX8M-EVKB, I need to rework the EVK board by pupolate/depopulate some resistors. As I find it is very difficult for me to do so, I think I should use another interface (i.e PCIE-UART WiFi module). I see in the MCIMX8M-EVKB schematic, it seems I can use PCIE-UART out of the box without modification. Could anyone kindly confirm this?

Thank you very much.

Kind regards,
Rahmanu

Hi Rahmanu

yes it can be used, both PCIe and UART signals are connected to M.2 (J1401)

on SPF-38820 i.MX8MQ EVK schematic   Design Files for the i.MX 8M Evaluation Kit (EVKB)

Best regards
