IMX7 Unused CFG Pins

This is an additional post.

When in Internal Boot Mode [1,0] and using GPIO CFG state for configuration, are BOOT_CFG pins not associated with the selected device via CFG[15:12] IGNORED?

This is more generic that my prior post.

CFG pins 19,18 and 16 are not clearly defined whether they are IGNORED based upon the device selected.

Your response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Hello,

According to Table 3 (LCD recommendations for developer's boot modes)

of Hardware Development Guide for i.MX7: the BOOT_CFG signals are required for

proper functionality and operation and should not be left floating.

https://www.nxp.com/doc/IMX7DSHDG

So, customers should provide proper termination for all BOOT_CFG pins.

Have a great day,

Yuri.
