Hi, I am designing a board with the IMX6UL. I will have eMMc flash and an SD card as boot options. I have referred to the SPF-2915 for guidance.
I have connected shunt jumpers to the 2x boot mode pins.
However, I do not have room to fit resistors for the boot configuration pins, and will leave these pins unconnected.
As I am developing only the hardware, I want to ensure the code developers can boot from eMMc or SD, if they can enter the serial downloader, and set the efuses to boot from eMMc or SD card.
Is this approach ok?
