Hi,

We are using IMX6UL EVK based board and eMMC is our primary boot device.

eMMC is partitioned as below:

mmcblk1boot0  --> uboot

mmcblk1boot1  --> empty

mmcblk1p2    --> active image (kernel, rootfs)

mmcblkp3       --> recovery image(kernel, rootfs)

we wanted to use one more recovery uboot binary either in the same eMMC or in a different storage device (SPI NOR FLASH, EEPROM etc).

If the primary boot device fails, NXP boot ROM will try to boot any other boot device?

Regards,

Siva

No, it will not. For the boot mode set different flashes are different.
