IMX6Q and UBNT SR71

     Hello everyone!

I am currently trying to get a UBNT SR71 PCI-Express Card (Atheros AR928X) to work with my Imx6QRex-Board.

After some kernel setup the board is able to detect the card. My problem now is that I am not able to connect to another network or do a simple scan.

When I run "iwconfig wlan0 scan" I get the message "wlan0 No scan results". I tried different antennas and also exchanged the SR71 Module so I think it is not hardware related.

Is there some part of kernel configuration I am missing?

I am running the 3.0.35 kernel version, provided by Rex.

Thank you for the links - unfortunately, they did not help me very much. I tried to follow the guide for Android roughly (we do not and can not use Android - so I have some kind of ubuntu running.

Put even with the Kernel settings, I am still only able to see the device, but not able to connect to a network or scan for networks.

I would suggest first verify it with linux.

Also it may be recommended to apply to Silex for

updated firmware for this module.

similar Atheros AR928X is also used in Silex SX-PCEAN(P)  (Atheros AR9280),

Silex modules are well supported for i.MX6, please check below links
