IMX6Q-SABRE Board does not boot due to eMMC file system corruption

Hi,

My i.MX6 SABRE board does not boot due to corrupted file system in eMMC.

Below are the configuration details.

Board - i.MX6 SABRE board

Processor : i.MX6 Dual Core A9 processor

OS : QNX 6.6 RTOS

Boot options : eMMC ,SD card and USB

The Board was working fine and it suddenly does not boot after power-up, it stops with the below error message in the QNX IPL program and did not proceed further.

BPB signature is wrong
error detecting BPB type

boot select=eMMC

I've tried with booting from SD card by placing the ipl-imx6q-sabresmart and QNX-IFS files in a bootable SD card.

In this case,  it did not print any of the above debug statements in the serial terminal. I've changed the boot option switch from eMMC -> SD card.

Can anyone please let me know, why it does not detect the SD card and how to resolve this issue.

Hi Nagarajan

for this issue it is necessary to reflash emmc image anew, since nxp does not support qnx

may be recommended to applly for help to vendor of that qnx software.

Hi igor, Thanks for your response. Since we are not able to access SD card,we are not able to access eMMC, we couldn't format/reflash the eMMC. I will check with QNX team support. thanks Nagaraj
