IMX6Q Android6.0 Camera can't capture hight resolution picture well

Hi team,

I am using imx6q based hardware with Ov5640 module is connected to IPU1 CSI0 8bit [CSI0_DAT12  --- CSI0_DAT19] parallel camera interface.  Now, I can get Ov5640 to capture less then 1024x768 resolution pictures, but the resolution which is 1280x720 or higher don't work well. like follow picture.

I test follow resolution:

640x480  -- OK

1024x768 -- OK

1280*720 --  don't work well

1920x1080  -- don't work well

2592x1944 -- don't work well

I got follow kernel message:

Have you tried using Android 7? I tested with that version and I did not have any problem with the camera. The images were taken without any problem.

Sorry, I don't work with Android7, there is only Android6.0 in my side.

Hello,

Are you using as reference, our hardware setup and our drivers for the OV5640?

The CSI design is how we have on our reference board? Otherwise, we cannot guarantee anything.
