Hi,

we are working on a custom imx6DP board, with a LVDS screen (using 2 lvds bus in split mode), and an isl79987 video decoder.
Kernel is 4.19 from NXP, on which we have the isl79987 patch for the 4 channel feature.

For testing, we use gstreamer or the nxp test application, mxc_v4l_tvin.

When we display image from camera, we can see that the image is not perfect, some bloc of lines seems shifted from the previous one (cf picture).

If we force the isl79987 to display a test patter (on the same channel), then the image is correct (no block of lines shifted).

We made the same test on a Wandboard with imx6QP and a hdmi display, and we do not have the problem.

Would you have an idea on where to search for this problem?

Thans in advance for your help.

Regards

Hi,

it seems the problems comes from the quartz used for the isl, which is not perfectly stable
