IMX6DP and isl79987 video: image scrolling

Hi all,

we are using on a custom board an imx6dp with isl79987 chip.

We are based on yocto warrior fsl release (kernel 4.19, yocto warrior).

i have applied the patch found here (https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors-Knowledge-Base/iMX6DQ-ISL79985-79987-MIPI-CSI2-CVBS-cam...) , to allow display 4 camera.

It works well and i'm able to launch  mxc_v4l2_tvin (up to 4 times to display 4 camera channel).

Anyway, sometimes after a while, one channel video scroll until it get resynchonized.

When it happens, i have the message

IPU WARNING IPU_INT_STAT_5=0x00000001

I've check that the isl has no error (by checking status register for each channel).

Would you have an idea of what i could check to find the problem?

Hi @vaudoitlaurent,

I hope you are doing well.

One possible reason for this issue could be the video data frame buffer.

Could you please confirm if the data is being transferred to the same frame buffer? If yes, the frame buffer must be over-flowed.
