Hi, I got the same kind of problem with kernel 3.0.35 build with yocto. By disabling the power management in the kernel, I was able to boot the board correctly. It's a workaround... I did not find the root cause yet.

Let me know if you find anything

Thanks

I am currently porting our patches to the latest. I hope it will have time to finish today...

This worked for us. Have you tried a newer kernel with yocto?

Seems that there are more people who have faced the same issue. Follow this recommendation:

Hi.

I got kernel starting boot and stopped at that point and die. Could any one point to me what the problem is? Or tell me what is the kernel going to do, but something happened? It is LTIB 4.0.0 image.

Hi Bill,

are you this LTIB: http://boundarydevices.com/ltib-4-0-0-images/ ? Try that one OR try Yocto. Freescale is moving to Yocto Project, and there is already lot of support for this builder.

Thank you for responding, however I'm more concerned with the error that starts with this:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000

I'll have to look into the USB thing later, but I think the above error is why my boot hangs.
