IMX6 Quad Plus DDR3 configuration question

Hi All,

We are working with an IMX6Quad Plus(MCIMX6QP6AVT1AA) processor using 64 bit wide DDR3, and need to know if using 2 chip selects to separate DDR memory into 2 2GByte banks is more efficient than using 1 chip select for all 4 Gbytes.  We are currently using 4 MT41K512M16HA parts and our design is operational.  As we are trying to get the most data throughput, we need to know which configuration of DDR3 memory will give us the best possible performance.

seems there is no much difference, probably using two chip selects 

will require very small overheads comparing with one for switching cs.
