I have designed a board with a I.MX6 and a PCIe switch (PEX8605), everthing it's working in the board exept the PCIe switch, we can't even detecting it with lspci, dmesg..., so I wanna check if there no mistake in the HW and it's a completly SW stuff.
In the pic. below it's how I conected the switch, it's that correct?, (I mean the structure of the TX of the SoC to the RX of the switch and so on.)
Any Idea of what could be?
Hi Javier
from i.MX6 side connections looks as correct.
However seems PEX8605 should be configured properly,
suggest to contact plxtech support or check PEX8605- AA RDK DevKit
docs, how PEX should be used in fan-out configuration.
For detection one can use SDK PCIe example
i.MX 6Series Platform SDK : Bare-metal SDK
also it may be useful to check AN4784 AN4784: PCIe Certification
Guide for i.MX, for options of tweaking signal shape.
Best regards
igor
