IMX6 GPIO states on watchdog reset

Hi,

I want to know if the GPIO states are reset during the watchdog reset. As per my basic verification it looks like it is getting reset on watchdog reset. Is there any option we can retain GPIO states(direction and value) during watchdog reset?

Hi Partha

resets are described in Chapter 60 System Reset Controller (SRC) i.MX6SDL Reference Manual,

watchdog generates warm reset: entire chip without test logic (sjc, iomuxc, dap),
srtc, so gpios may retain its states.
