IMX Yocto extSDK with Hardknott

Dear all, 

For application development on our i.MX8 board we are trying to build and install an Yocto Extensible SDK. 

We started to test this on release Linux 5.10.35_2.0.0, but it also fails on the Linux 5.10.52_2.1.0 release from last September (hardknott release of yocto). 

Building the eSDK is no problem, however installing the eSDK fails. 

See attached log for more information and exact error code. 

We have tried this with various images such as imx-image-core or core-image-minimal, but they all fail on the same error. 

Any help would be very appreciated.

Dear NXP, 

Thank you for replying to my question. 

I checked the case/ url you provided me, but the error description does not match with my error. I expect that the error reported on the URL is generating while creating an image, while we have our issue when installing the eSDK. They are both indeed created by generating / installing an eSDK.

Can you also reproduce my issue and see the same errors are reported by me?

When are you planning to release the next BSP?
