I want to implement fast boot on i.mx6 and found this:

write by Haidong Zheng,he provide a patch that load uboot and kernel using DMA. but the patch is base on L3.0.35_12.09.01_GA.

Please try to patch the patch files to latest BSP. If cannot patch directly, you can follow the patch contents to modify the source code.

Please download the latest version of BSP from here:

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=IMX6_SW

The u-boot source code can be found in the BSP.

You can use the following command to extract the source code.

./ltib -p u-boot -m prep

Then the u-boot source code will be extracted to ltib/rpm/BUILD/.

this package is too large to upload in community, could you create a new SR to freescale support team? we can send to you by tools.

BTW for mx6, we have released the newer version than 12.09, you can download them too.
