I have a question on porting of linux into custom made I.MX Board

I have my team designing I.MX6DualLite board based on SABRE automotive board.

I would like to port BSPs given for SABRE Board to this custom board. Can anyone suggest which emulator to use and some steps regarding how to begin. Thank you in advance
