Guys

Here Needs Your Helps. We Currently Have Different Product Design Plans With I.MX Series I.MX8X Processor. As You Know This Processor Has Different Core Configurations. And Seems No PMIC Selection Guide For All Configurations. We Tried Looking Upon Discussion Threads In Community But Find No Match. And From Listed Options Of Following Document Power Management Integrated Circuits Here Are 5 Recommended PN At Least Can Be Used For I.MX8X.  From The Document You Can See A Table As Below:

APPLICABLE PMICS FOR I.MX8X DESIGNAPPLICABLE PMICS FOR I.MX8X DESIGN

It's Kindly Confusing. From PF7100 / PF8100 / PF8101 / PF8200 / PF8201 All Can Be Applied For I.MX8X And Except Auto Grade / Working Temperature Different I Cannot See Which One Is Matched One For Each Core Configuration. For Example:

Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Quad A35 With DSP

Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Quad A35  Without DSP

Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Dual A35

Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Single A35

And Does The Single Core A35 Configuration Has Built-in DSP?

The link Document Power Management Integrated Circuits  is not working. I am looking for PMIC selection guide for i.MX8M plus. Can I use the PMIC from Renesas DA9063 and RN5T568 Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc.

Hi alighieri

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Quad A35 With DSP

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Quad A35 Without DSP

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Dual A35

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Single A35

for all of them it is Table option "iMX 8X"

>Does The Single Core A35 Configuration Has Built-in DSP?

no

@igorpadykov

You Probably Misunderstand My Question. I Know Here Is No One-Size-Fits-All PMIC That Can Be Used For All I.MX8X Processors. So You Can See I Listed Each Core Configuration For Companion PMIC As Following:

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Quad A35 With DSP

This Means I Want A Suggestive P/N For Quad Cores With Built-in DSP

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Quad A35 Without DSP

This Means I Want A Suggestive P/N For Quad Cores Without Built-In DSP

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Dual A35

This Means I Want A Suggestive P/N For Dual Cores

>Which One Is Right One For I.MX8X Single A35

And Finally This Means I Want A Suggestive P/N For Single Core

@igorpadykov  Thanks For Your Favor Ignor

Do You Know If There Are Some Documents Guideline Or Tools Which Can Help To Calculate Power Consumption For Right One?  PF7100 / PF8100 / PF8101 / PF8200 / PF8201) Are All Marked For I.MX8X.  What Are Them Different From The Others?

I See PF7100 Seems To Be Designed For More High Temperature Rating And Has Different Version One For QM Another For ASIL Level With 5 Buck Boost 2 LDO. It Might Not Go With My Design Case Due To Less LDO.

I See PF8100 Seems To Be Designed For Industrial-Purpose Product Because It Only Has QM Version.

I See PF8101 Seems A Cost-Down Version Of 8100 With Less Sets Of Bock Boosts And LDOs

I See PF8200 And PF8201 Are All Verified With AEC-Q100 And ASIL B For Automotive Grade. So I Guess PF8200 And PF8201 Are Both Right For Me. Last Thing Is According To Table 2 Of PF8100 / 8200  Datasheet To Pick Up One Order Number Depending On Applying DDR Is DDR3 Or DDR4.

for power consumption one can look at

AN12338  i.MX 8QuadXPlus Power Consumption Measurement

there is no tool for power consumption.
