I.MX6Q parallel camera input freeze (Oreo 8)

Hi,

we're working on a board built around a Variscite Dart-Mx6q.

The board has an Analog Device ADV7181C to perform cvbs acquisition.

All works fine but if the analog input is switched to an empty one (no camera connected) the bt.656 video data stream  to imx6 parallel port stops and the camera application freeze.

The only way to get all working again is reboot the board.

Is there any workaround?

Hi Luca

unfortunately I am not aware workaround for such case, probably one can add

some code to application which would exit when there are no several incoming camera frames.
