I.MX6Q LCD and LVDS1 display at the same time. Android

Platform: I.MX6Q ANDROID R13.4.1

Requirement: LCD and LVDS1 output at the same time and display same content.

We uses a lot of way to configure uboot to make LCD output 800 x 480, LVDS1 output 1024 x 600. But it failed, only one display at one time.

Anyone could give me suggestion?

What are the bootargs that you tried?

setenv bootargs console=ttymxc0,115200 androidboot.console=ttymxc0 vmalloc=400M init=/init video=mxcfb0:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666,bpp=16 ldb=sin1 video=mxcfb2:dev=lcd,CLAA-WVGA,if=RGB565,bpp=16

Please check the picture attached for the hardware connection.

RGB LCD connect to Sabra SDB extend connector.

LVDS LCD connect to LVDS0.

hi Terry,

as we talked in mail, I think "video=mxcfb0:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666 ldb=sin1 video=mxcfb1:dev=lcd,CLAA-WVGA,if=RGB565 video=mxcfb2:off" is good for your. we can fix this issue right now.

I have a similar requirement.

In my case the LVDS panel is 1920 x 720, according to imx6 RM, I need to use split mode on LVDS.

So I want to know:

when I use split mode on LVDS,can the LCD work at the same time?
