Hi Community,

We has a new design using IMX6q with emcp (LPDDR2 + eMMC, Micron MT29PZZZ8D5BKFTF) chip. I want to use ddr calibration tool to get paramater for ddr, I had try several different config files to test my board. But allways fail and show "ERROR FOUND, we can't get suitable value !!!!"

Does it support this emcp memory ? And who i to check it ? Thanks!

Hello,

Please try using the recent DDR stress test (it provides calibration options too).

i.MX6/7 DDR Stress Test Tool V2.52

Also, it makes sense to check PCB trace requirements :

- DQS signals should be 5 – 200 mils shorter than the clocks.

- Data and respective DQM signals should be 5 – 25 mils shorter than

  corresponding DQSs.

- Address and control signals should be 5 – 25 mils shorter than the clocks.

- Longest clock trace must be <= 3 inches.

As for DRAM configuration tool, please try the following

Have a great day,
Yuri
