I have an I.MX53 Quick Start Board without an SD card to boot it. I downloaded MXIMX535-START-R-BSP-11-09_C executable which should burn an SD. But the program runs and at the Create Disk screen there are no disk selections to choose from. Any ideas? Or are their other procedures to burn an SD card?

You can burn it manually.

The file i.MX53_START_Linux_UserGuide.pdf describe the steps of how to do so, from a Linux host computer, on chapter

7. Using a Linux Host to Set Up an SD/MMC Card

You can find the document at:

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=i.MX536&nodeId=018rH3ZrDR988D&fpsp=1&...

inside of the compressed file:

You need right click on it and 'Run as administrator'
