I.MX 6ULL DDR3L

Hello,

I am using the I.MX 6ULL processor. I have been referring to datasheet and EVK board to choose the DDR3L. The I.mx cortex A7 is 32-bit processor. I am wondering why it can work with single x16 DDR3L? Does the processor have something within itself to set the processor? So, It can work well with the x16 DDR3L instead of x32 or two DDR3L chips?

The processors can be interfaced with DDR3, DDR3L LPDDR2 (single channel) DRAM
memory devices.16-bit LP-DDR2, 16-bit DDR3-400, and LV-DDR3-400.

So you can not use the 32 bit DDR.
