How to use i.MX6DQ SATA P0_act_led.

Hi community,

I have a question about i.MX6DQ SATA.

Please see chapter 53.3.5.11 in IMC6DQRM Rev.2.

It says about P0_act_led, and our partner want to use this signal, but we did not find how to use the signal other than this chapter.

How can we use P0_act_led signal?

control of led activity is performed using standard AHCI APIs,

so seems one can use described below steps

Thank you for your reply.

I read the documents, and I understood how to use activity LED roughly.

But I could not understand about P0_act_led signal because the documents don't mention about hardware.

I feel P0_act_led signal is hardware signal, and I found the condition when it is asserted in chapter 53.5.11 of IMX6QRM Rev.2 and chapter 10.12 of the following document.

However, I could not find how assign P0_act_led signal to i.MX6 physical pad.

Should we assign P0_act_led signal to a GPIO pad by ourselves?

Hi Satoshi

this signal is not routed externally to processor pad.

This is internal signal of sata module, used in enclosure management protocol

(please refer to above links).
