How to upgrade OpenCV lib version

Hi,

I want to update the Opencv version 4.0.2 in i.MX8 linux 2.3.0 Yocto release to version 4.2.0 in i.MX8 linux 5.4.3 Yocto release.

How to do,pls give guide

you need to porting new GPU by yourself, you need to change the layer file, but I don't suggest you to do this, because gpu related many other packages and kernel,  if you use newer version gpu on old bsp version we didn't test, I'm not sure if you will get any issue

why need porting new GPU？I only change opencv bb to 4.2.0 in OpenCV folder，is it ok？

I'm not sure for this, because many packages are related, maybe you can try it
