How to turn on the MX6Q_SABRE-SDB by the RESET button

Dear all,

We run AndroidKK4.4.3 on MX6Q_SABRE-SDB.

We want to boot the system by RESET button after it was turned off(shutdown) by POWER ON button.
In SABRE-SDB, the PWRON signal of RESET button(SW2) is connected to PWRON pin of PF0100.

In this case, we understood that the PWRON_CFG of PF0100 should be set to 1.
Is our understanding right?

In addition, is there the point that should be taken care of?

Hi Yuuki

I think you are right, however in such case in original SDB

schematic wdog(software reset U507 on SPF-27392 p.21

i.MX6_SABRE_SDP_DESIGNFILES) will not work.

For turning ON board with button one can try to implement "optional"

U509 circuit.
